Bridal Shower Bloom Bar

For maids of honor, bridesmaids & shower hosts

The Bridal Shower Bloom Bar

Give the bride a shower her guests will actually talk about. Every guest makes a stunning balloon-flower bouquet, and she goes home surrounded by flowers made by the people who love her. No experience needed, done in about 30 minutes.

The Diagnosis

Why most bridal showers
blur together

You want her shower to feel as special as she is. But most showers follow the same script, and guests forget them before the wedding. Here are the 5 reasons it happens:

01The Two-Family Room

“Her side. His side. Nobody talking.”

Her mom, his mom, the college roommates, the coworkers and the aunt who flew in are all in one room. They smile politely, stick to the people they know, and the families who are about to become one barely say hello.

02The Gift-Opening Marathon

“Ninety minutes of watching her open towels”

Everyone loves the bride. But sitting in a circle while she unwraps a stand mixer, a set of wine glasses and a fourth cheese board? Attention drifts, the phones come out, and the energy of the room slowly sinks.

03The Recycled Games

“Toilet-paper dresses… again”

Bridal bingo, the purse game, “how well do you know the bride.” They fill an hour, and then the fun ends when the shower does. Guests played something. They didn’t learn anything, and nobody walks out able to do something new.

04The Forgotten Favor

“Monogrammed mints nobody takes home”

Custom candles, tiny jars of honey, cookies with her initials. You spent hours on favors that get left on the table or tossed in a purse and forgotten by the time the wedding arrives.

05The Maid-of-Honor Scramble

“I planned the whole thing and missed all of it”

Refilling mimosas, keeping the games moving, writing down who gave which gift. The person who loves the bride most spends the shower in the kitchen instead of beside her.

She doesn't need another shower game.
She needs a shower moment.

Guests remember the showers where they made something together. When hands are busy, the two families start talking on their own: her mom helps his aunt with a petal, the roommates cheer when a bouquet comes together, and everyone laughs at the first pop. Then the bride, who's about to carry a bouquet down the aisle, is surrounded by flowers made by every woman in the room. And every guest leaves with a real skill, easy to learn in one sitting and theirs to use for the bachelorette, the next shower or a simple thank-you.

The Solution

1

Count Your Guests

Choose a 5–10, 11–20 or 21+ box bundle: one box for each guest who'll be making a bouquet.

2

Match the Wedding

Pick flowers that fit her colors. Calla and Tulip are bridal favorites, or mix all four so guests can choose.

3

Twist During the Gifts

Put a box at each seat and start the tutorial as she opens gifts. Guests stay busy and happy, never bored.

4

The Bride's Bouquet

In about 20–30 minutes every guest has a bouquet. End with the moment below, and a lot of photos.

The Signature Moment

A bouquet from
everyone who loves her

This is the part guests talk about at the wedding.

An armful of white calla-lily balloon flowers

How it works

  1. Every guest finishes her own bouquet at the Bloom Bar.
  2. One by one, each guest hands the bride a single stem from her bouquet and shares a wish or a piece of marriage advice.
  3. The bride ends up holding one big bouquet made by every person in the room, and every guest still takes her own home.

Grab the maid of honor's phone for this one. It's the photo that ends up framed.

Tip: with 11+ boxes, the bride gets her own free bouquet box, so she can make one too, or save it for later as a keepsake.

What's Included

The Complete Bridal Bloom Bar

Everything you need to host a hands-on flower shower, without the stress.

Part 1

A Bouquet Box for Every Guest

  • Specially selected twisting balloons for one full balloon-flower bouquet per box, in the flower of your choice.
  • Designed for complete beginners, from the flower girl's mom to the grandmother of the bride.
  • So every guest works on her own bouquet while getting to know the other side of the family.
  • And everyone goes home with a favor she made herself, not one picked off a shelf.
Part 2

Step-by-Step Guidance

  • A how-to tutorial in every box that walks the whole group through each twist at an easy pace.
  • Tips on inflation so fewer balloons pop, and a calm “what to do if one pops” plan (popping is part of the fun!).
  • So the maid of honor doesn't have to be the teacher. The tutorial runs the activity while you sit next to the bride.
  • Most first-timers finish in about 20–30 minutes, easily done during gift opening.
The Big Picture

The Part Nobody Tells You

  • The activity, the centerpieces and the favors are the same thing. You buy one item instead of three.
  • Finished bouquets double as your table decor and the backdrop for the bride's photos.
  • Unlike fresh flowers, balloon flowers don't need water and won't wilt by the end of the day.
  • And the bride goes home with an armful of flowers made by the people who'll be at her wedding.

The Big Question

Is a Bloom Bar right for her shower?

If you're planning a shower and want guests to really connect, not just watch, it's made for you.

You're bringing together two families and several friend groups who've never met, and you want them talking fast.
You want an activity that works for the grandmother of the bride, the college roommates and the future sister-in-law who “doesn't do shower games.”
You'd rather spend the budget on something guests make, keep and remember than on favors and flowers that don't last.
You're the maid of honor and you'd like to actually enjoy the shower next to the bride.

A Bloom Bar isn't the right fit if many guests are children under 8 (balloons are a choking hazard), guests have latex allergies, the shower is outdoors in direct heat, or you want something guests watch rather than join in on.

Real Talk

Why we created the Bridal Bloom Bar

Catarina Monnier, founder of FlowersPop

In Brazil, where I grew up, a bridal shower is called a chá de panela. It's loud, warm and full of women who show up to help the bride begin her new life. The best ones I remember weren't the fanciest. They were the ones where everyone pitched in, laughed and made something together.

After more than twenty years designing beautiful spaces and memorable experiences, I kept seeing the same thing at showers: gorgeous tables, and guests who never really connected. Two families in one room, still strangers when they left.

The Bridal Bloom Bar is the simplest way I know to change that. Put a box in front of every guest, and within ten minutes her mom and his aunt are helping each other with a petal. By the end, the bride is holding flowers made by everyone who'll be cheering for her at the wedding.

You don't need to be an artist to create joy. You just need a reason to gather, and a wedding is the best reason there is.

— Catarina Monnier, Founder
Questions

Quick answers before you plan

When during the shower should we do the Bloom Bar?

Our favorite time is during gift opening. Guests twist while the bride unwraps, so the room stays lively and nobody gets bored. It also works right after brunch or lunch. Plan about 45 minutes, including the Bride's Bouquet moment and photos.

Can we match the wedding colors?

Yes. Choose the flowers that fit her palette, and mix styles within your order. With 21+ boxes, our team helps you match the exact wedding colors.

Do guests need any balloon-twisting or crafting experience?

Not at all. FlowersPop boxes are designed for beginners, and the step-by-step tutorial guides everyone through each twist at their own pace. If you can blow up a balloon, you can make a bouquet.

How many boxes do I need?

One box per guest who'll be making a bouquet. If some guests would rather just watch, order fewer. With 11+ boxes, the bride gets her own box free. Use the calculator above to see your bundle price.

Does it work for a couples shower?

Absolutely. Balloon flowers are just as fun for the groom's friends, and couples can make a bouquet together. Hibiscus and Daisy are great picks for a mixed crowd.

Can the bride use the bouquets at the wedding?

Balloon flowers don't need water and won't wilt like fresh flowers, so many brides love having them around after the shower. If you're hoping to use them as wedding or rehearsal decor, contact us about timing and conditions so they look their best on the day.

What if a balloon pops?

Don't worry, it's a normal part of learning and usually gets a big laugh. Follow the inflation tips and avoid over-inflating. If your box includes spares, just replace the popped balloon and keep going.

What’s the difference between the tutorial and Balloon University?

Every box includes a how-to tutorial with everything a guest needs to make that bouquet. Balloon University is our full program: a step-by-step video library, 3D simulator, PDF guides, quizzes, pricing calculators, wholesale pricing, marketing materials and a FlowersPop Balloon Artist Certificate, with 1 year of access and all updates. It normally costs $499. It’s free for the host with 11+ boxes, or $199 as an add-on with 5–10 boxes.

Is it safe for kids at the shower?

Boxes contain uninflated latex balloons and small pieces and must be used with adult supervision. Children under 8 can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons, so keep them away from young children and throw away broken pieces immediately. Guests with latex allergies should not take part.

How far ahead should I order?

We recommend ordering at least 2 weeks before the shower so boxes arrive with plenty of time. Need them sooner? Contact us and we'll do our best.

Decision Time

The choice is yours

Here's her shower, before and after the Bloom Bar.

Before

  • Her side and his side smile politely from opposite ends of the room…
  • Phones come out during the ninety-minute gift opening…
  • The same shower games she's already played at three other showers this year…
  • Monogrammed favors left behind on the table…
  • The maid of honor misses the whole thing running between the kitchen and the gift table…

After

  • Two families become one table as they help each other twist their first petal!
  • Gift opening flies by while everyone creates something beautiful!
  • A new, easy-to-learn skill every guest takes home, ready for the bachelorette and beyond!
  • The bride holds a bouquet made by everyone who loves her, and every guest keeps her own!
  • The maid of honor sits beside the bride and enjoys every moment!
